Safeguarding

BOA Digital Technologies is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students. We believe that a safe and supportive environment is essential for effective learning, and all staff have a responsibility to ensure the well-being and protection of every child in our care. Safeguarding and child protection are at the heart of everything we do, and we recognise that it is a shared responsibility across our academy community.

Safeguarding children - the action we take to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm is everyone's responsibility.

If you have a safeguarding concern, please call us on 0121 359 9400. If you need help outside of usual Academy hours or on the weekends, and you’re not sure what to do click here.

All students will be in mixed-gender tutor groups within Year 7.

Mr O’Brien is the member of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for pastoral care. He is also our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) which means he is able to respond to any concerns over student safety or wellbeing.

Your Form Tutor is the key person responsible with your welfare, guidance and academic progress. You will see a tutor for 1 hour Personal Development lesson each week (including Relationships and Sex Education) plus you will see them for Form Time every day.
