Tour of the academy

This has been a very long time coming, but I am delighted to cordially invite you as parents to visit our wonderful new school building on Barrack Street.

The event will take place on Thursday 9^th March 2023, from 6:30pm until 8pm.

At 6:45pm, I would like to speak to all our parents in the school hall and formally welcome you to the new build in addition to also thanking you in person for your patience and support whilst we were in temporary accommodation. This will also be an opportunity to share with you some changes to the curriculum I would like to introduce that will take place after the Easter break as well as updating you on some operational matters.

Miss Chapman will be on hand to run some workshops on the grade cards and explain how we track progress. And finally, I would like to explain to you all about some changes to our academic groups and why we are making these changes.

After the short presentation, you will be able to walk around the site and see the classrooms and facilities that your children now use.

Miss Hart, our Assistant Principal and SENCo and some of our class teachers will also be available to address informally any questions you may have.

I do hope you will be able to attend. There is no parking available on site, although Millennium Point car park is a 7/8 minute walk from our school. Your children of course are most welcome to join you.
